#SPESciAdvice INGSA Case study - Montreal – March 16 2019 We at Science & Policy Exchange are conducting a #SPESciAdvice workshop for students and early career researchers (ECR). To help bring student’s voice to the forefront of science policy at the provincial, federal and international levels, we have designed our workshop with science advice case studies prepared by the International Network Government for Science Advice (INGSA). Our event is organized in close collaboration with the Fonds de recherche du Quebec and moderated by Rachael Maxwell, External Director of Science & Policy Exchange. What can you expect to take away from this event? With our collaborators, we aim to introduce students and early career scientists to the world of science advice through practical training! Today’s students and ECRs will be tomorrow’s science advisors, and thus we strive to encourage their participation through case studies like #SPESciAdvice. After the workshop, interested participants will be invited to collaborate with their peers to write an article about their experience. Participants will be invited to collectively write an article about their experience (not mandatory)
