Join Science & Policy Exchange - Dialogue sciences et politiques for a policy discussion on Research Excellence, what is it, how can we improve it and better evaluate it. It is an open roundtable discussion to assess the policy landscape associated with the current research excellence in academic institutions, what does it mean to funding agencies, what are the strengths and weaknesses and then discuss potential policy recommendations.

The premise of #SPECafe is simple - We provide some background info to the registered participants to start an open discussion where we can identify key issues, debate current policies, and come up with new ones that could be put in place.

The Café will begin with two 10-min presentations from the speakers, followed by a 45 min break-out room discussion session. All the notes, ideas, comments, & solutions will be assembled into a short report by our team after the event to write a comprehensive report on the subject. You will be getting a copy and together we can reach out to stakeholders and decision-makers so your ideas can have an impact.
