Do you know of any Food Myths? Food and dietary choices are personal decisions that are complicated by constantly evolving advice on nutrition and the variety of information accessible. As more people search for nutrition information online, it is becoming increasingly important to find effective ways of promoting evidence-based information and combatting pervasive myths and viral misinformation. Join us and three expert panelists for this new edition of SPE's Public Forum to learn and discuss the impact of misinformation on nutrition in Canada from a research, social, and policy perspective, and more! Our quest begins with the following questions. Would you like to join us? How can we learn and access reliable nutrition-related content in the age of misinformation? What is the social impact of nutrition misinformation on healthcare? How can we develop policies and strategies to promote evidence-informed nutrition to support public health? Cost: Free! Live interpretation will be available in french.
