Marie Zoé is a master’s student in Veterinary Science at the University of Montreal. Working with the Leishmania parasite, she studies the mechanisms of resistance against different treatments. She owns and hosts a scientific vulgarisation podcast Balado Hors Labo, which aims to make science more accessible by promoting the One Health approach. She promotes students in science who take action outside their labs to make an impact beyond their thesis.
