Entrepreneurship in Canada
Wondering what to do with your degree? Why not become an entrepreneur? More people than ever are becoming entrepreneurs. In 2010 alone roughly 1 in 15 working Canadians owned an incorporated business. Canada has been ranked within the top 5 countries for entrepreneurs by the Ernst & Young G20 Entrepreneurship barometer in 2013

The Science & Policy Exchange is hosting its first networking event that will focus on “The State of Entrepreneurship in Canada”. We are aiming to provide you with an opportunity to discuss challenges, opportunities, and growth potential for future entrepreneurs with experts in the field. The key objective of this event is to provide you with relevant information, as well as an opportunity to build your own professional network, both of which can be invaluable assets when deciding on your next move after university.

Workshop in Networking
We are also pleased to offer you a Workshop in Networking that will be given by Darlene Hnatchuk (Director, McGill CaPS). Students often consider the transition from academia to industry to be challenging because of a lack of networking skills. Come take advantage of this workshop, which starts at 6:00pm, and learn the skills needed to network like a pro!

Cost: 10$ (Note: Register by Jan. 25th to get 50% off our next event)
